Each set consists of two taps: a Taper Tap (No. 1) to start the thread and a Finish/Bottoming Tap (No. 2) to finalize the profile. By using this 2-step system, our HSS-M2 taps provide a high-precision thread finish that ensures a leak-free seal with minimal manual effort.

Q: Is G thread the same as BSPP?
A: Yes. The "G" designation stands for parallel pipe threads, which is the same as BSPP (British Standard Pipe Parallel). These are NOT interchangeable with NPT (tapered) threads.
